Anyone who knows the Bartons knows that there are two things we are very serious about… 1. Real estate 2. Food!! We figure that we are teaching our clients all about real estate all the time so why not start teaching them our tricks in the kitchen as well? Enough about us, here is the recipe!

Barton’s Anytime Brownies

Preheat your oven to 350*

What you need:

9×13 Dark nonstick metal baking dish

Spatula

Large saucepan

Medium bowl

Measuring Cup

Measuring Spoons

Ingredients:

2 Sticks of butter (1 cup)

4 Eggs

2 Teaspoons of vanilla extract

1 Cup white sugar

2/3 Cup unsweetened cocoa powder (I use Hershey)

1 Cup all purpose flour

1/2 Teaspoon salt

1/2 Teaspoon baking powder

Step 1- Grease and lightly flour your baking dish

Step 2- Melt the butter in the saucepan over low heat

Step 3- While butter is melting combine all your dry ingredients (flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt) in the bowl and set aside

Step 4- Once butter is melted remove the pan from the heat. Directly into the pan of melted butter stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Mix until well combined.

Step 5- Pour in your dry ingredients and mix well.

Step 6- Pour the brownie mixture into your baking dish. Place them in the oven on the middle rack for 30 minutes.

Step 7- Take them out of the oven. Let them cool in the dish for 5-10 minutes. That’s it! Now go enjoy your warm brownies!!

If you don’t take down the whole pan while they are warm you can cut them and store in a Ziploc bag or air tight container for up to 1 week.
